The collaboration between Yıldız Technical University and the Krakow University of Technology, which is being carried out under a previously signed agreement, has entered a new phase. During their visit to YTÜ, the delegation from Krakow examined the YTÜ Yıldız Technopark model firsthand, in addition to discussing academic exchanges and joint projects, and expressed their interest in receiving consultancy services for a technopark planned to be established in Poland.

The OECD delegation visited Yıldız Technical University and YTÜ Yıldız Technopark, conducting a comprehensive review of university-industry collaboration and the innovation ecosystem.

The high-level international delegation from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), which is in Turkey as part of the 2026 Skills Summit, visited Yıldız Technical University and YTÜ Yıldız Technopark. The delegation gathered information by listening to the projects of young entrepreneurs. 

An international conference titled "Celestial Crossroads: Encounters, Intersections, and Interactions," which explores the intersection of astronomy and history, has begun at Yıldız Technical University (YTÜ).

By presidential decree, the Additional Area of the Yıldız Technical University Technology Development Zone in Arnavutköy has been officially designated. The Teknopark Arnavutköy project, for which a protocol had previously been signed, has entered a new phase with this decision.

The Arnavutköy campus, developed by Yıldız Technical University, YTÜ Yıldız Technopark, and the Arnavutköy Municipality, has been designated as the “Yıldız Technical University Technology Development Zone Extension Area” by a Presidential Decree. The decision, published in the Official Gazette, will transform Arnavutköy—a rapidly developing area of Istanbul—into a robust R&D and innovation ecosystem.
