As part of a project carried out by Our University's Sultan Abdülhamid II Application and Research Center under the courtesy of the presidency of the Republic of Turkey, the books "British-Ottoman Relations through the Yıldız Palace Photography Collection" and “American-Ottoman Relations Through The Yıldız Palace Photography Collection” are introduced by the Culture and Tourism Ministry at the London Book Fair between 10th-12th Apr 2018. The fair is opened by The Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to London.

Department of Avionics has been opened at Faculty of Applied Scences.

Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Bahri ŞAHİN visited Suat Hayri AKA, Undersecretary of Ministry of Transport Maritime Affairs and Communication and Salim ÖZPAK, the General Directorate of Shipyards and Coastal Structures to hold in exchange of views on R&D projects.

Hosted by Our Faculty of Architecture, Italian Cultural Affairs Office, The Consul General of Italy, Italian Trade Promotion Agency and IED-Istituto Europeo del Design contributed to organization of ‘Italian Design Day in the World’ at our university. Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Göksel AĞARGÜN, Dean of Faculty of Architecture, Prof. Dr. Gülay ZORER GEDİK, Deputy Dean of Faculty of Applied Sciences, Prof. Dr. Sezgin BAKIRDERE and National Defense University, Dean of Naval Academy, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Dursun ALKAN attended the event.
