According to the 2025 data from the Patent Report, Yıldız Technical University ranked first in Turkey among state universities in 10 out of 20 different technology fields. While our university maintained its leading position in international patent applications, it also took the top spot in European patent applications. 

COP31 Workshop

Ahead of the 31st Conference of the Parties (COP31) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change—the world’s most comprehensive climate summit, to be held in Antalya—our university will host the “Climate Pathway from a Youth Perspective: COP31 Workshop.”

Students from Yıldız Technical University became world champions with a solution they developed for shipping fleets required to reduce carbon emissions under new regulations enacted by the International Maritime Organization. The concrete project, which can be directly integrated into commercial fleets, impressed the jury: “Are you professionals in the industry?”

YTÜ Fikir Meclisi’nde sanat ve kültür mirası konuşuldu

The YTÜ Fikir Meclisi, a reflection of Yıldız Technical University’s commitment to fostering intellectual and cultural discourse, hosted Prof. Dr. M. Hüsrev Subaşı at its May gathering. During the discussion, held in the historic setting of the Otağ-ı Hümayun, the artistic memory, aesthetic sensibilities, and vision of civilization in Anatolia were explored in depth.

Humanities and Culture Seminars - Careers and the Future of Work

The "Humanity and Culture Seminar" series, organized by our university’s Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences (FEAS), is kicking off.

The first seminar, featuring Prof. Dr. Aşkın Keser, a faculty member at Bursa Uludağ University, as the speaker, will address the topic "Changing Paradigms: The Future of Careers and Work."

All our faculty members and students are invited to attend the event.

Our university, in coordination with TÖMER (Center for Turkish and Foreign Language Application and Research), will host a discussion titled “Turkish and Turkey Through the Eyes of Foreigners.”
