YıldızFest’26 coşkusu başlıyor

Our university’s traditional spring festival, YıldızFest’26, will take place from June 9–11, 2026, at the festival grounds on the Davutpaşa Campus.

Spanning three days, YıldızFest’26 will bring together the Yıldız community with a rich program ranging from concerts and student club events to technology and engineering projects, as well as art and sports activities.

YıldızFest’26, which allows our students to take a brief break from their academic lives to socialize, share their work, and experience campus life together, will begin at 12:00 PM each day and continue into the evening. Throughout the festival, we will showcase the multifaceted nature of our campus through engineering exhibitions, workshops, sports events, talks, and social awareness initiatives.

Student Clubs at the Heart of the Festival

As one of the most important components of YıldızFest, our student clubs will showcase their projects through booths and experience zones set up throughout the festival, engage with participants, and highlight the cultural diversity of our campus life. Spanning a wide range of activities from technology to art, and from sports to entrepreneurship, our clubs will make a significant contribution to the festival’s dynamism.

Famous Names on the YıldızFest Stage

We will host Turkey’s beloved artists on our festival’s main stage. Artists will take the stage every evening at 9:00 PM throughout the festival. Ozan Doğulu will meet our students on Tuesday, June 9; Selin Geçit on Wednesday, June 10; and Emre Fel on Thursday, June 11.

Young Talents on Stage

Throughout the festival, student groups from the YTÜ Music Club and independent musicians will also perform on stage for festival-goers. Our groups, performing in genres such as pop, rock, alternative, and indie, will help build the festival atmosphere before the main concerts.

On June 9, Mutfakta Uzaylı Var, Füzyon, Flu, and Burak Ertan; on June 10, Travelogue, Heryol, Haze, and Bavyera; and on June 11, Asimetri and the Şebnem Ferah Tribute Band will take the festival stage. The Mustafa Efe Tural Group and the Güve Group will also add color to the festival program with their performances. The music groups will take the stage between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM.

Sports, Art, and Design Together

Our festival’s daytime program consists of activities where our students can participate directly. The YTÜ Archery Club will host award-winning archery competitions, the YTÜ Chess Club will organize chess matches on the grass, and panel discussions featuring guests from the sports world will be held.

Our YTÜ Extreme Sports and Aviation Club will offer participants a variety of activities, including paragliding, rollerblading, rowing ergometer sessions, and ice hockey shooting experiences.

Our YTÜ Space Avionics Systems Club will add a touch of technological excitement to the festival grounds with its FPV Drone Race on June 9.

Under the coordination of our Art Club, Design Club, and the Department of Cultural Services, the events will feature workshops on doodling, portrait drawing, printmaking techniques, watercolor, wood, concrete, and ebru art.

Technology and Engineering Projects on Display

Student projects in the fields of engineering and technology will also be key components of our festival. Project teams from our YTÜ Mechanical Technologies Club and YTÜ Robotics and Automation Society will share the vehicles they have developed and the successes they have achieved in national and international competitions with participants.

While our IEEE, Casmarine, Biomech, Spark Rover, and Solar Boat teams showcase their work, computer game tournaments and various technology events will be organized in the experience zones set up by our SkyLab and Digital Game Development Club.

Social Awareness and International Campus Life

YıldızFest’6 will also host social awareness initiatives alongside entertainment, science, and art. In collaboration with our Construction Club and AFAD Society, search-and-rescue training sessions and awareness events will be held.

Our YTÜ International Student Club, under the theme “Countries of the World at YTÜ,” will bring different cultures to the festival grounds, connecting our university’s international and multicultural structure with participants.

We look forward to welcoming all our students to the Davutpaşa Campus for YıldızFest’26, where science, art, sports, and music will come together under one roof.
