Our faculty members and students will be able to submit their project and contribution proposals for COP31 to the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) under the coordination of our Rector’s Office.
The 31st session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP31) will be held in Antalya, hosted by Turkey, from November 9–20, 2026.
COP31 will bring together government representatives, scientists, international organizations, private sector representatives, and civil society actors from various countries around the world.
COP31 will address issues critical to humanity’s shared future, such as clean energy, the green transition, sustainable development, climate finance, and adaptation to climate change.
The Council of Higher Education (YÖK) has begun accepting academic contributions and project proposals with the aim of bringing universities’ knowledge, research capacity, and innovative work to COP31.
Projects and contribution proposals prepared by our faculty and students will be compiled under the coordination of our Rector’s Office and submitted to YÖK.
The deadline for submissions, as determined by YÖK, is August 14, 2026.
