Dear Faculty Members,
As part of the International Research Programs (AKAP, DOSAP, and GEP) administered by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), applications for the 3rd Round of 2026—which support researchers and faculty members in conducting research at world-leading universities in accordance with international standards—will be accepted between August 3 and August 21, 2026.
Under these programs:
• GEP (Young Minds Program): Research assistants in the dissertation phase are offered the opportunity to conduct research abroad for 1–3 months.
• DOSAP (Postdoctoral Research Program): Research assistants and Assistant Professors who have completed their doctorates within the last 3 years are provided with support for postdoctoral research abroad for up to 9 months.
• AKAP (Academic Development Program): Faculty members are offered the opportunity to conduct research abroad for up to 9 months as part of an academic sabbatical.
Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements for the respective programs and obtain an invitation letter from a higher education institution ranked within the top 700 in global university rankings over the past three years.
