The Yıldız Robot League Yıldız Off-Season, hosted by Yıldız Technical University, concluded with the final matches and an awards ceremony. In the competition, where high school students competed with robots they developed, the champion alliance—comprising three teams—was crowned, and team awards in 15 categories were also presented.

Organized by Yıldız Technical University (YTÜ) in collaboration with YTÜ Yıldız Technopark and the Industrial Design and Prototyping Center (ETP), and with the support of the Fikret Yüksel Foundation, the Yıldız Robot League Yıldız Off-Season took place at the YTÜ Indoor Sports Hall from October 30–November 1, 2026, at the YTÜ Indoor Sports Hall. During the three-day event, school teams and independent robotics teams took to the course with the robots they had designed and built.

On the final day of the tournament, teams competed for the championship in the final matches. Following the matches, in which robots raced to deliver balls to the target, an awards ceremony was held to present prizes to both the top-ranked alliances and teams that excelled in various categories.

Champion Teams

As a result of the final matches, the alliance formed by Emoner Robotics from Güngören Ergün Öner – Mehmet Öner Anatolian High School, YAL Thunders from Yeşilköy Anatolian High School, and Cezeri Robotics from Cezeri Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School took first place. These three teams were awarded the Winner prize.

Second place went to the alliance formed by Adroit Androids from Bahçeşehir Anatolian High School, MAT Robotics from YTÜ Maçka Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, and the independent team Sivas Robotics. These three teams were awarded the Finalist prize.

Yıldız Support for an Engineering Journey That Begins in High School

Launched to help high school students advance their work in robotics and develop their engineering skills, the Yıldız Robot League offers young people the opportunity to test the robots they’ve built in a competitive setting. While students see the real-world results of their design decisions, they can also share their experiences by examining the solutions of other teams.

Bringing together YTÜ’s academic expertise, Yıldız Technopark’s experience in technology development, and ETP’s design and prototyping capabilities with the students’ drive to create forms the foundation of this collaboration. This approach aims to help students build upon the technical experience they gained in high school and develop into aspiring engineers capable of creating their own solutions.

Awards in 15 Categories, from Design to Team Spirit

In addition to championship and finalist awards at Yıldız Off-Season, awards were presented in 15 categories recognizing teams’ engineering solutions and teamwork. Emoner Robotics received the Winner award as well as the Creativity and Jury Special awards, while Novatron was recognized in the Team Spirit and Autonomous categories.
