With the aim of strengthening cooperation in the field of research and development among technical universities in Turkey, ensuring the effective utilization of universities’ existing knowledge, expertise, and research infrastructure through joint projects, and contributing to our country’s national development goals, the Union of Technical Universities (TUB) has launched a Call for Joint Research Projects.
Prepared in line with Turkey’s 12th Development Plan, this call aims to support projects with high added value and collaboration potential that will be carried out in partnership with TUB member universities in research and technology fields of strategic importance.
Purpose of the Call
Through TUB Joint Projects, the goal is to bring together the research capacities and areas of expertise of TUB member universities to develop sustainable inter-university research collaborations, build joint capacity in strategic research areas, and implement high-quality projects that will contribute to our country’s scientific and technological development.
We invite all our researchers and academics to develop joint project proposals that will strengthen the potential for collaboration among TUB member universities and contribute to our country’s strategic goals, and to apply to this call.
Application Requirements
Applications submitted under the TUB Joint Projects Call must meet the following conditions:
Project Partnership: The project must involve collaboration among at least three different TUB member universities.
Project Duration: The project duration may be up to 36 months, including any extensions.
Maximum Project Funding: The funding amount provided per project is the sum of the per-project funding amounts determined by the partner universities involved in each project.
Application System: Project applications will be submitted online via BAPSİS.
Application Dates: Applications will open on August 15, 2026, and close on September 15, 2026.
