When dealing with a certain shape of enlcosure baffle step loss is a rather ambiguous subject to work on. Some claim that it is not a loss of low frequencies but a rise in mid frequencies some claim that it is a loss of low frequencies where the level of mid frequencies stay the same. Some useful Finite Element Method analysis results ( Generated with ANSYS ) can be observed in order to understand the behaivour of the enlcosures. Every project he accomplished contains information about TL and TQWT applications. His work is based on rigid mathematics and reliable data.
