Seas L11RCY/P and 19TAF/D In this design I am using a fist degree Butterworth filter and it is definetaly a paralel filter. I have decided not to use a notch filter for the mid-bass unit, instead I am using a Zobel for the mid-bass unit, which I find very useful. It surely takes away the coloration in the midrange and smoothen the high frequency response. I also use a L-Pad for the tweeter and it is 3.3 ohm series and 12 ohm in paralel. The component values of the zobel components are 3.3 uF and 11 ohms. The cross-over is adjusted to 1.7 Khz which makes things hard for the tweeter but it runs beautifully. I've designed the box a little bigger than 4 liters for more low bass but a good stuffing is made, filling more then half of the enclosure. This made the tuning frequency lower and made the cone excursion bigger but you have to trust your eyes after hearing that massive bass coming from these little gianst !
