Brief Information

Ibrahim Beklan Kucukdemiral is a 1993 graduate of Eyuboglu High School, Istanbul, Turkey. Then he received B.Sc., M.S and Ph.D. degrees all from Yildiz Technical University, Department of Electrical Engineering in 1997, 1999 and 2002, respectively. During, May 1998 – May 2004, he held the Research & Teaching Assistant position in Yildiz Technical University, Department of Electrical Engineering, Division of Control Systems. From 2004 to 2010 he served as an Assistant Professor. As of May, 2010, Dr. Kucukdemiral is affiliated with Department of Control and Automation Engineering as an Associate Professor.

General research interests of Ibrahim B. Kucukdemiral lie within the broad domain of robust, optimal and adaptive control systems. His particular focuses are Linear Matrix Inequality (LMI) based analysis and synthesis techniques for uncertain time-delay systems (TDS), Linear Parameter Varying (LPV) Systems, Gain Scheduling Control and some automotive applications of control theory.

In addition to teaching graduate courses on System Theory, Optimal Control Theory, Adaptive Control Systems, Ibrahim B. Kucukdemiral has regularly taught undergraduate courses on Automatic Control, Design of Control Systems, Introduction to Multivariable Control Systems, Signals and Systems, Discrete Mathematics, Numerical Analysis, Digital Electronics, Microprocessors, Robot Modeling and Control, Digital Control Systems both in Yıldız Technical University and Turkish Airforce Academy.
