About Me

Cem Akca was born in Istanbul, Turkey. He received BS, MS and PhD degrees in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from Yildiz Technical University, Istanbul, Turkey in 1999, 2002 and 2006, respectively. He worked on strain-induced phase transformation in austempered ductile iron during his MS and PhD studies. Currently, he is occupied in Dept. of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering (Materials Science and Engineering Division) and Balkan Center for Advanced Casting Technologies as a member of advisory board. He has also been writing articles about recent hardwares/technologies on PC Labs since 2004.
